According to this article from Curbed Austin, Austin’s rental market continues to be crunched—which means rising rates across the city.
They go on to site a just-released report from Zumper, an apartment-listing site that found the price of one bedroom units grew to a median of $1,240 in January. Two bedroom prices remain flat at $1,520. However, year over year, that’s a six percent increase, for one bedroom and a 4.1 percent hike for two beds.
Rates in Cedar Park and Georgetown are on the rise as well.
